Services

Elmtree supports learners who are struggling to succeed in their current provision. Through bespoke learning programmes which incorporate emotional literacy [through Thrive assessment and targeted plans] as well as the national curriculum we build confidence and successful experiences of education and engaging with their peers. We offer a range of packages from 12 weeks upwards with 6 weekly reviews ensuring learners are achieving and succeeding.

We are committed to every child getting the right opportunities to succeed, ultimately successful education experiences lead to the skills and foundations for further success. Our learners are all working towards their ‘what next’ – this can be returning to full time at their current provision or moving onto another mainstream site, specialist provision or onto a traineeship/early college or equivalent. If required we can provide lunch to learners, however, most bring packed lunch. Snacks, and breakfast items are available on all sites.

Our sites are split primary and secondary with 4 ALP sites and an outdoor provision in North Somerset (WsM Primary and Secondary, Banwell Primary, Clevedon Secondary and The Paddock at Banwell – outdoor provision). Sites in Bristol and South Gloucestershire as well as further afield will be opening during the 2023/24 academic year.

Our staff are committed to the safeguarding of our learners, we invest in systems and training to ensure consistent and clear communication with external agencies and relevant adults/professionals around each of our learners. Our staff also receive ongoing training and support to ensure they are able to provide the best possible experience to our learners and their families.
