Services

At Equal Education, we operate as a social enterprise matching qualified teachers to work 1:1 with vulnerable and disadvantaged students, including: Children Looked After, those who are Adopted, and those with Special Educational Needs. We work in partnership with 100+ Virtual Schools, Schools and SEN departments across England.

Our approach has driven impactful results for our clients; thanks to our:

• recruitment of specialist tutors (all with QTS or equivalent and an enhanced DBS);
• focus on safeguarding and rigorous reporting standards;
• close working relationships with our clients, supported by clear communications and attentive account management.

Our Service Level Agreement commits us to:

• Report any cancellations immediately to Referrer
• Following up on unexplained absence immediately with school and/or parent/carer.
• Follow up on any issues flagged by tutors through a designated Support officer.
• Respond to any Referrer enquiry within 24hrs.
• Provide monthly reports, including overview of attendance, engagement and comprehension.
• Provide reports on cancellations, including steps taken to improve attendance and recommendations.

• Mentoring children who inevitably will be nervous about their return to school
• Post-16 tuition being delivered with a focus on their subjects
• Hourly career guidance sessions
