Services

Network Learning Pathways provide quality learning programmes and experiences for young people when mainstream education isn’t quite right or doesn’t work at this point in their lives. We ensure these programmes appropriately prepare young people for what they want to do next and ensure they are preparing for adulthood.

We offer a range of personalised learning pathways following an initial assessment and induction period:

  • returning to school

  • transitioning to special school

  • transitioning to further education

  • a vocational pathway using the Supported Employment model and principles, and Training In Systematic Instruction techniques.

We facilitate continuity across education, health, and social care services by working in partnership with our sister company, Network Healthcare Professionals, and support learners to transition to social care services.

We work effectively in partnership with all those involved with our learners and place the learners at the centre of everything we do.

We provide provision for a minimum of 6 hours per week up to 17 hours per week. Pathway durations are at least 12 weeks but will be reviewed every 6 weeks and can continue longer term.

We also have a keeping in touch offer to ensure continued success at the onward destination. Integral to our service is a therapeutic offer to promote physical and mental wellbeing such as music, drama, nutritious cooking, and weight training.

Our provision is routed in the principles of trauma informed practice. We use Boxall Profile assessments and share the subsequent strategies and ongoing targets with our partners.

Our personalised approach includes being able to teach GCSE Maths and English content and up to Level 2 Functional Skills.

We prioritise experienced, committed and well-trained staff and promote of culture where all young people can feel valued, safe, and have the self-belief to succeed. We can work with learners in their own homes, provide transport and a nutritious lunch. Snacks and drinks are also available.
