Services

Staffed by highly experienced SEN educationalists, All Things SEN: The Quay is an alternative learning provision with a difference. We understand the complex range of factors that can negatively impact a child or young person's educational engagement and have developed an approach and method that has yielded remarkable results.

Excitement, discovery, play and imagination, carefully managed challenge, and the personal satisfaction of acquiring new skills and abilities inform the unique curriculum of our ‘mini-school’ site at Sharpness Docks.

We have a highly successful record of:

  • bringing school refusers to a love of school
  • creating positive feelings around classroom-based adult-led activities
  • encouraging social integration with small cohorts of peers.

Depending on the age and need of the pupil, We offer a basic core curricular provision in literacy and numeracy supplemented by topic-based foundation subjects, practical and artistic activities, and extensive social and life skills opportunities.

With our extensive experience in managing primary, secondary and sixth form curriculums, our educational provision can be carefully calibrated to the key stage requirements and specific challenges of the individual child.
