Park and Green Spaces strategy
The pdf Parks and Green Spaces Strategy (PGSS)(8.09 MB) sets out a vision for Bristol’s Parks and Green Spaces over the next 15 years to 2039, and replaces the existing strategy, which was published in 2008.
The Parks and Green Spaces Strategy includes green spaces that are managed by the council’s Parks Service and land that is open to the general public to use for recreation.
The Parks and Green Spaces Strategy identifies key actions to ensure that the city’s parks and green spaces continue to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing, respond to the ecological and climate emergencies and provide greater opportunities to grow food.
Why are we consulting?
We would like your feedback on the draft strategy before a final version is adopted.
We want to hear from as many people and organisations as possible including Bristol residents, and individuals who work in or visit our parks and green spaces for education, leisure, sport or health and wellbeing.
We also want to hear the views of community groups, businesses and developers - anyone who has an interest in the future of Bristol's parks and green spaces.
