We asked for your views on drafts of additional and revised policies and proposals that we propose to include in the new local plan.

Overview

Bristol’s local plan is being reviewed. The new local plan will:

  • update all existing policies for deciding planning applications
  • guide development across the city over the next twenty years

Why we are consulting

We are consulting you now so we can take your views and suggestions into account whilst producing the new local plan.

We are seeking your views on drafts of additional and revised policies and proposals that we propose to include in the new local plan. The topics covered by this consultation include ecology, homes, jobs, sustainability, design policy, sites for development, and applications for advertising.
