Stockwood road safety improvements consultation

We're proposing a series of transport changes in Stockwood. The proposals aim to help reduce unsafe speeding on residential streets and make it easier and safer for people to cross the road.

Our proposals have been developed with ward councillors following requests and concerns raised by members of the local community.

The plans form part of the Bus Route 2 project, which is looking to improve the number 2 bus route between Henbury and Stockwood. The wider project aims to make bus journeys more reliable and make routes safer and more accessible for people walking, wheeling and cycling.

Funding

The Bus Route 2 project is funded by the UK Government through the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS), secured by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
