All Age Carers Strategy

Archived
We asked carers or people who work with carers to help us to develop the All Age Carers Strategy 2025 to 2029.

Bristol City Council wants to hear from carers or people who work with carers to
help us to develop the All Age Carers Strategy 2025-2029.

A carer is anyone, child or adult, who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, mental health need or addiction and cannot cope without their support.

pdf All Age Carers Strategy 2021 to 2025(400 KB)

The All Age Carers Strategy is a document which tells us what’s most important to carers in our city. This document will guide all work across the council, identifying the main challenges and opportunities to improve carers lives in our city.

We want to hear from carers and people who work with carers, including:

  • carers: children, young people and adults
  • registered and non-registered professionals such as social workers
  • carer support organisations
  • organisations in the community
