Slashes

Do not use slashes.

Use 'to' instead in a time range. For example, '11am to 5pm' or '2026 to 2027'.

Use the words 'and' or 'or' instead of a slash. For example, 'apples or lemons' instead of 'apples/lemons'.

If you need to write the name of a road junction, use 'junction of'. For example, 'junction of Victoria Avenue and Park Road' rather than just 'Victoria Road/Park Road'.
