You must book a registrar to perform a civil marriage ceremony.

All registration services are provided from Bristol Register Office.

2. Blaise Castle House Museum

This beautiful historic house is set in 400 acres of landscaped parkland and has been a museum for well over 50 years. 

Blaise Castle House Museum is ideal for:

  • wedding and civil partnership ceremonies
  • renewal of marriage vows and naming ceremonies

3. Bristol Museum & Art Gallery

Bristol Museum & Art Gallery is a truly a unique event space for both corporate and private functions. 

Its incredible Edwardian Baroque architecture is sure to make a great impression on your guests. There are two main event spaces, both boasting extravagant vaulted glass ceilings and balconies which give access to the museum galleries. You can even book a private gallery viewing for your event.

Bristol Museum & Art Gallery is only a 15-minute walk from the city centre and is ideal for:

4. City Hall

Located in the heart of the city centre, City Hall is one of Bristol’s most iconic buildings, bordering College Green with its beautiful backdrop of the 12th-century Bristol Cathedral.

5. Create Centre

6. Harbourside Pavilion

The Harbourside Pavilion is set in a stunning waterfront location alongside the harbour at Canon's Marsh, only a 10-minute walk from the city centre. 

It also has a large balcony offering spectacular views of the riverside, ideal in good weather conditions for conference break times, networking and relaxing.

7. Junction 3 Library

Junction 3 Library and Learning Centre has several rooms available to hire, Monday to Saturday.

The venue is conveniently located at Junction 3 of the M32 and is ideal for:

8. Mansion House

The Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Bristol, right in the heart of Clifton.

With its large airy rooms and beautiful gardens, it’s one of Bristol's top business and wedding venues.

9. M Shed

Located on the harbourside in the heart of Bristol, M Shed has everything you need for a fantastic event.

The museum has been designed to retain the character of the former 1950s transit shed but with the addition of purpose-built facilities and state of the art lighting and audiovisual equipment.

10. Old Council House

The Old Council House is an elegant neo-Classical building full of wonderful features, including a grand sweeping staircase and outstanding decoration throughout the building.

The building is in the heart of the old city and about a 20-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station. It’s close to many luxury hotels and restaurants which are suitable for wedding receptions.

11. Passenger Shed

The Passenger Shed is one of the largest event venues in the South West, perfect for a large variety of events.

This outstanding Grade 1 listed Victorian building is adjacent to Bristol Temple Meads train station.

12. Redcliffe Caves

Redcliffe Caves are a series of man made tunnels located at Phoenix Wharf.

  • Commercial organisation - £220 per day
