Join our Change & Transformation Portfolio as a Business Analyst and help shape smarter, more responsive public services. You'll work closely with project managers and service leads to understand needs, analyse processes, and design improvements that deliver real value.
This is a role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and making a tangible difference.
What you'll be doing
You will:
- conduct deep-dive analysis of current processes and pain points
- facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to define requirements
- design future-state processes and support business case development
- research best practices from other councils and organisations
- document findings and communicate insights clearly and effectively
- support delivery teams with user needs analysis and solution evaluation
- proactively refine and challenge the scope, rationale and benefits of change
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from people who have:
- experience in business analysis, ideally within a local authority or public sector context
- strong facilitation, communication, and documentation skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- familiarity with tools such as BPMN, Lean, SWOT, and Agile delivery
- a passion for continuous improvement and service transformation
