We're updating the digital system that's used to manage our HomeChoice Bristol and our Tenant Account services
Both the services will switch over to the new system on Monday 3 November. There will be no changes to current applications or banding.
The switchover will cause temporary disruption to the service which will affect all residents currently registered on HomeChoice Bristol.
During the switchover, no properties will be advertised from Tuesday 21 October to Tuesday 4 November. No applications can be accepted and no bidding will be possible during this time.
The last bids accepted were on Sunday 19 October.
Any applications that are in progress during the switchover will be brought across to the new system.
Our new service
Our new service will combine HomeChoice Bristol and the Tenant Account.
The new system will help us, and our partner housing providers in the city, provide a better service.
It will enable people looking for social housing in Bristol, Bristol City Council tenants, licensees and leaseholders to:
- bid for social housing
- check or update applications in progress
- check their rent account
- pay their rent
- contact Housing Services
- upload and view documents
