Hengrove Play Park

Facilities and activities

The play park includes a 12 metre high dome housing a jungle play experience, sand and water play for younger children, large wheels park for skateboarders, in-line skaters and BMX riders, distinct zones with the latest challenging activity equipment, a large central grassed space to run around in, a Café, and seating, and a seasonal Splash Pad.

The play garden includes an accessible path, grass events amphitheatre, tunnel through a mound, woodland climbing ropes and slide, balancing beam, rope bridge and towers, telescope lookout deck and lots of grass mounds and space to picnic and safely run around in. The whole garden, which is fenced so as to be dog free, is only accessible through the main play park.

Open every day from April to September, 10:30am to 5pm.

About the Splash Pad

The Splash Pad is designed for children to enjoy and play in a safe environment.

Using the Splash Pad:

• There is no lifeguard on duty.
• All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• Toddlers must wear a swim nappy while using the Splash Pad.
