Addresses

When providing an address, use your judgement whether to display it on one line or multiple lines. Generally, if the address is in a bullet point list use one line and everywhere else display it over multiple lines.

One line

Write the address on one line, with commas. For example:

Bristol City Council, City Hall, Bristol, BS1 5TR.

Multiple lines

Start each part of the address on a new line. Write the town and postcode on separate lines. Do not use commas at the end of each line. For example:

Bristol City Council
City Hall
Bristol
BS1 5TR
