A business-led partnership covering specific geographical areas which are created through a ballot process to provide additional services to local businesses. They provide a way of directly involving businesses in local activities. This allows them to work with local authorities to improve their trading environment.

A movement at the heart of fairer, better working conditions that brings together employers and communities across the UK to shape employment that works for everyone.
National Association of British Markets (NABMA)
Working with a range of organisations, NABMA is dedicated to championing the interests of markets through such activity as the ‘Love Your Local Market' campaign.
National Market Traders Federation
A trade association representing market and street traders, events retailers and mobile caterers. It provides support advice and representation to its members at local, national and international levels.
University of Bristol
Links with business and industry in a variety of ways and plays a key role in supporting the SETsquared business incubator network.
University of the West of England
Offers practical support to businesses. The support includes:

Visit West
The Local Visitor Economy Partnership for the West of England brings together business communities, local authorities, and the domestic and international travel industry to maximise the potential of the region's visitor economy.
West of England Mayoral Combined Authority and neighbouring Unitary Authorities
The Mayoral Combined Authority was set up in 2017 to make decisions and investments that benefit people living and working in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Together, the aim is to enable economic growth for the region and address some of its challenges, such as productivity, skills, housing and transport.
West of England Growth Hub
The main organisation through which the Mayoral Combined Authority provides support to SMEs in the West of England. It provides tailored support, expert guidance and access to finance.
YTKO Ltd
YTKO Ltd provide training and business support to residents, employees and businesses. They run skills bootcamps in the West of England and other areas of the country.
