Courses and support to help you build the skills you need to find work.

Support to find work

We offer a range of support to help you find work, including:

  • work clubs
  • support for young people
  • resources for job seekers

Work clubs

We work in neighbourhoods with high levels of unemployment, providing and supporting a network of local work clubs.

Work clubs are free, informal drop-in services supporting people to find work.

Work clubs in Central and North Bristol can help you to:

  • prepare and organise
  • build job search skills
  • fill in applications
  • create a CV
  • produce leads
  • use the internet
  • prepare with mock interviews
  • build negotiating skills
  • find qualifications for you

The central Bristol work club meets every Friday 9am to 1pm, in Barton Hill Settlement, 43 Ducie Road, Bristol, BS5 0AX.

The North Bristol work club meets every Thursday 1pm to 4pm in Upper Horfield Community Centre, Rear of Eden Grove Methodist Church, Eden Grove, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 0PQ.
