History
Eastwood Farm was run as a traditional farm until 1971. The council purchased the land and used it as a landfill site for domestic waste from 1971 to 1978.
Once the site closed for landfill, Eastwood Farm was landscaped and trees were planted. The site is now a haven for wildlife for the public to enjoy.
