Most account holders have had their MyBristolHousing account updated successfully. However, we know our previous update made things harder for some residents and we're sorry about that.

This one will make it easier to check your rent, manage your housing application and use your online housing services.

It's for account holders who had to:

  • create a second MyBristolHousing account
  • use more than one email address
  • take extra steps to keep using the service

What's happening

We'll update MyBristolHousing in 2 groups. You'll know which group you're in as we'll email you a week in advance and again on the relevant day.

  • The first group will have their accounts updated on Monday 20 July.
  • The second group will have their accounts updated on Monday 27 July.

You do not need to do anything before either update.

While we make this change, you will not be able to access your account. We aim to complete the update during the working day. Please do not try to reconnect your account during this time.

What happens next

What you need to do next depends on how you use MyBristolHousing.

If you use one email address

Once the update is complete, we'll email you.

When we do, you'll need to:

  • sign in to your MyBristolHousing account
  • confirm your personal details and mobile number
  • follow the steps to reconnect your housing account
  • enter your Person Reference Number

If you use two email addresses

As part of the update, the account linked to your housing application will be disconnected. This will not affect your housing application.

Once it's complete, we will email you. You'll then need to sign in to your MyBristolHousing account using the email address linked to your rent account.
