What the Everyday Culture Micro-Commissions are, what you need to apply, how to apply and what happens next.

About the Everyday Culture Micro-Commissions

The Everyday Culture Micro-Commissions are for Bristol based creative individuals, collectives, and community groups to share your ideas and celebrate what everyday culture means to you.

We're not looking for a set format or outcome. It's up to you to decide how your project takes shape.

Your project piece must be able to be shared online afterwards. It could be:

  • a short film
  • a podcast or audio recording
  • written pieces, poetry or zines
  • a digital story or photo essay
  • anything else that captures and shares your cultural experience

These commissions will feed into Bristol's Cultural Strategy and also feature online on our website.

There are 8 micro-commissions worth up to £500 each.

You can apply for funding between £100 and £500 for each commission. There's a total of £4,000 available.

Projects must take place between 13 April 2026 and 15 June 2026.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, Monday 12 January 2026.
