We've been working with organisations across Bristol to set up a network of Welcoming Spaces to support residents over the autumn and winter 2022 to 2023.

A Welcoming Space is a place where people can keep warm, socialise with others and access support related to the cost of living. Services available at each Welcoming Space will vary but may include:

  • access to support about money, welfare and mental wellbeing
  • community activities, including homework club, community meals and film nights
  • access to computers, free wifi and charging points
  • heated space

Look at our map to see where your closest Welcoming Space is.

The map includes opening times and what each Welcoming Space is providing. More will be added in the coming weeks.

You can also find information on Welcoming Spaces by Bristol wards and neighbourhoods below.

Or call the We Are Bristol helpline for free on 0800 694 0184, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.

All Welcoming Spaces are wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet. Some of the spaces have  pdf additional accessibility provisions (283 KB) .
