The Welcoming Spaces network was set up in October 2022 to support residents over the autumn and winter.

However, many of the spaces are still continuing to operate and are ready to give you a warm welcome.

Most Welcoming Spaces are run by local people for local people. They are informal spaces open to all.

You can sit, socialise with others, take part in activities and access support.

What is available at each Welcoming Space will vary but may include:

  • community activities, including homework club, community meals and film nights
  • access to computers, free wifi and charging points
  • access to support about money, welfare and mental wellbeing

Look at our map to see where your closest Welcoming Space is.

The map includes opening times and what each Welcoming Space is providing.

There is also a list of Welcoming Spaces by area below.

Or call the We Are Bristol helpline for free on 0800 694 0184, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.

All Welcoming Spaces are wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet. Some of the spaces have  pdf additional accessibility provisions (283 KB) .
