Volunteer to plant trees in Bristol

How to volunteer to plant, and maintain trees in Bristol, what you’ll need to bring and what volunteer events are running in 2021.

Come along to our volunteer tree planting, and tree maintenance, events from October to December 2021.

Our maintenance events involve mulching and weeding around already planted trees.

These events are run by One Tree Per Child Bristol.

How to volunteer

To volunteer, email onetreeperchild@bristol.gov.uk to book your place on our events.

What you’ll need

You’ll need to bring:

  • long trousers to protect your legs from any brambles and nettles
  • sturdy shoes
  • suitable clothing for the weather
  • a packed lunch and plenty of water

We provide all training, tools, and PPE, so no experience necessary.

We also provide gardening gloves to each volunteer but bring your own gloves if you have them.
