The services we offer and support you can get for families with disabled children.
We have three service areas for disabled children and their families.
These are:
- social care hub services for children with additional needs
- specialist services for children who are likely to need lifelong support
- support in local Children's Centres, Family Help teams, area social work teams who assess and support children
To make a safeguarding or Level 4 referral of the indicators of need to address acute and chronic needs for a disabled child call First Response on 0117 903 6444.
You can make a request for targeted support for disabled children with intensive needs at Level 3.
If you know the child has an allocated social worker or Family Help worker, contact the worker directly.
