Designated Teacher (DT) training (in person training day) 

Training for new Designated Teachers for Children in Care

This course is free but you need to book a place using the links below. You'll need to bring your own lunch, as this is not provided and there is no catering on site.

Venue: City Hall, from 9am to 3pm

Trauma Informed Practice: Practical ways to support children who have experienced trauma (in person training)

This course is open to Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16 providers and is suitable for Designated Teachers, SENCOs, Designated Safeguarding Leads, or Pastoral Leads.

The course is a chance to develop your knowledge on strategies and ethos that could be embedded in your provision.

You'll need to bring your own lunch, as this is not provided and there is no catering on site.

Training for Designated Teachers for Previously Looked After Children (in person training )

Please be aware that this training is mainly aimed at primary and secondary settings however Designated Teachers at EYFS/ Post 16 settings are always welcome.

Training for Kinship Leads or any staff who are interested in finding out more about how to support children in kinship care. This course is free but you need to book a place using the links below.
