What the support groups are, where and when they meet, and how to join our support group mailing list.
What the support groups are
We run regular support groups in informal settings, including at libraries and community centres.
The meetings are a chance to meet the team and other special guardians over a coffee and refreshments.
Support groups have occasional guest speakers who:
- give talks on relevant topics
- provide up to date information and training opportunities
- offer guidance and support
Where and when the groups meet
The groups run in Bristol at:
- East: St George's community centre on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month
- Central: The Station on the last Thursday morning of the month
- North: She 7 in Filton on the first Monday evening of the month
- South: Red Catch community centre on the second Thursday morning of the month
You don't need to tell us in advance if you want to come to a group.
You're welcome to come along to any group that fits in your schedule.
If you want support to come to a group
Contact the team if you're worried about coming to a group, or want support to attend a group
