What the support groups are

We run regular support groups in informal settings, including at libraries and community centres.

The meetings are a chance to meet the team and other special guardians over a coffee and refreshments.

Support groups have occasional guest speakers who:

  • give talks on relevant topics
  • provide up to date information and training opportunities
  • offer guidance and support

Where and when the groups meet

The groups run in Bristol at:

  • East: St George's community centre on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month
  • Central: The Station on the last Thursday morning of the month
  • North: She 7 in Filton on the first Monday evening of the month
  • South: Red Catch community centre on the second Thursday morning of the month

You don't need to tell us in advance if you want to come to a group.

You're welcome to come along to any group that fits in your schedule.

If you want support to come to a group

Contact the team if you're worried about coming to a group, or want support to attend a group
