Located within Bristol’s old city, St Nicholas Indoor Market is home to over 60 independent retailers that sell a mixture of gifts, original fashion and hand-crafted accessories.  

With three very unique areas of the market, why not make a day of it?

The Covered Market is home to a variety of self-contained businesses including books, records and gifts whilst The Exchange Hall houses an eclectic array of stalls from jewellery to hot sauce.

Plus no visit to Bristol’s most historic market would be complete without visiting the Glass Arcade eateries during the festive period for delicious food and drink.

With a wide range of unique stalls and shops, the thriving indoor market is a great place to shop, eat and drink or just soak up the atmosphere.

The market is divided into three sections:

  • Exchange Hall
  • Glass Arcade
  • Covered Market

You can wander your way through the Covered Market which has a series of individual shops through its quirky alleyways, or while away the time in The Exchange Hall; a large open plan trading area with a broad collection of items for sale.

The Glass Arcade is home to a unique offering of world foods so whatever your tastes, you’re sure to find it here.
