Tenant participation: ways to get involved
If you're a council tenant or leaseholder, you can have your say on how the housing service is run.
Get involved with tenant participation
You can give us feedback online, join a tenant group or forums and take part in events, surveys or consultations
Local Housing Forums
A local housing forum is a meeting where council housing tenants can discuss local housing services with the council. If you're a tenant, you can join your Local Housing Forum and make suggestions at your local forum about improvements to shared council areas.
Join a service user group
To get involved and have your say about our services you can join a service user group for council tenants.
Contact the Housing Management Board
The Housing Management Board is a forum where tenant representatives meet with senior housing managers and councillors to discuss and influence the development and management of council housing services.
For information on how to contact or join the board see our Housing Management Board page.
Housing Scrutiny Panel
The Housing Scrutiny Panel is a recognised panel of tenants and leaseholders that helps us to improve our performance and standards. Find out more about the Housing Scrutiny Panel.
Get involved in your local community
If you’re a tenant or leaseholder with communal facilities and you have ideas on how to improve them, why not apply to our Environmental Improvement Programme. You can also bring your ideas to your local neighbourhood partnership or forum meeting.
