What the group does, when they meet, and how to join
The High-Rise Living Group (HRLG) is for Bristol City Council tenants and leaseholders who live in one of our high-rise buildings.
What the group does
The High-Rise Living Group works with Housing and Landlord Services to:
- discuss issues that affect residents living in Bristol City Council high-rise buildings
- share resident views and experiences
- help improve communication with residents
- influence service improvements
- give feedback on building safety engagement
- help shape future priorities and areas of focus
The group gives residents direct access to council officers and service managers responsible for delivering and improving services.
What topics are covered
Topics covered in meetings may include:
- fire, building and resident safety
- security and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
- communal areas, cleaning and caretaking
- repairs, maintenance, lifts and shared facilities
- rubbish, recycling and pest control
- communication and information for residents
Residents also help identify priorities and agenda items for future meetings.
Individual issues should continue to be reported through our council tenants and leaseholder pages.
When the group meets
The group meets bi-monthly throughout the year using a mix of:
- online meetings
- in-person meetings
- workshops and discussion sessions
This approach helps more residents take part.
