Proposed Residents’ Parking Schemes and parking changes

This is our Residents' Parking Scheme hub where you can have your say on proposals for new schemes in Bristol. It is also where you can have your say on proposals to change some schemes that are already in place and matchday parking controls in some areas.

A Residents Parking Scheme (RPS) is a controlled parking area that prioritises parking for people who live within a defined area. 

You need a permit, pay and display ticket, or Blue Badge to park in a Residents' Parking Scheme area during its operating hours. 

Matchday Parking Schemes work in much the same way but the hours of operation are focused for when there are matches or events at large venues nearby.
