Vision events
Explorers: Sensory support service early years group
For children aged 0 to 4 years.
Connect with other parents and carers of young children with vision impairments in a safe, stimulating and relaxed environment. Siblings are welcome.
Activities include:
- sensory and messy play
- music and singing
- informal talks and information
- tactile play
- bubble tubes and fibre optic lights
- adapted toys and activities

Multi-sensory events
Adapted EarlyBird Plus programme 2026
Available for parents and carers of autistic children aged 5 to 10 years.
The programme is delivered in partnership with Bristol Autism Team, Bristol Sensory Support Service and National Deaf CAMHS.
The programme consists of six sessions covering:
- understanding autism and deafness
- communication
- understanding deaf and autistic experiences
- supporting daily living
- health and wellbeing
- connections
The sessions provide information about autism and practical strategies to support autistic children.

Accessibility and childcare
