How to order a new or replacement garden waste bin and set up regular garden waste collections.

A national driver shortage and the continued impacts of COVID-19 mean Bristol Waste have significantly fewer drivers than usual.

To maintain essential waste and recycling services, garden waste collections including sack collections have been suspended for ten weeks from 7 July 2021 and they won't be able to return for missed garden waste collections.

We'll send details of discounts and refunds as well as interim solutions directly to subscribers affected by the disruption.

Get a replacement bin

To order a replacement bin call 0117 922 2100.

A replacement bin costs £21 or £10 if you get income support, pension credits, housing or council tax benefits.

Change of address, cancel service, remove unwanted garden wheelie bin

Change of address

You can transfer the service to your new address if you move within Bristol boundaries. If not, you can cancel the service.

You can take the wheelie bin to your new address or leave it for the new residents who will need to subscribe to continue having the garden waste collected.

Cancel

You can cancel the garden waste service if you no longer require that service.

There’s no refund if you cancel your service within the subscription period.

Removal

If the garden wheelie bin is no longer required it can be removed as long as it is empty.
