How to order a new or replacement garden waste bin and set up regular garden waste collections.
Garden waste collections are every two weeks.
The service is suspended for one month over the Christmas and New Year period.
The collection dates are available on the collection day finder when you're paying for the service.
Get a new bin
We charge £21 for a 240 litre bin and £32 annual service charge.
If you get income support, pension credits, housing or council tax benefits it's £10 for a bin and £18 annual service charge.
You are responsible for your bin's security and any repairs. We only collect Bristol City Council bins and may not if they are damaged.
Direct debit
You get a £3 discount off the annual service charge for paying by Direct Debit.

Fill in the form and send it to:
- waste.services@bristol.gov.uk, send a scan or a clear photo of the form

Call 0117 922 2100 to:
- order a new bin
- set up a new collection
You can pay by credit or debit card.
It's not possible to do direct debit over the phone.
Get a replacement bin
To order a replacement bin call 0117 922 2100.
A replacement bin costs £21 or £10 if you get income support, pension credits, housing or council tax benefits.
Change of address, cancel service, remove unwanted garden wheelie bin
Change of address
You can transfer the service to your new address if you move within Bristol boundaries. If not, you can cancel the service.
You can take the wheelie bin to your new address or leave it for the new residents who will need to subscribe to continue having the garden waste collected.
Cancel
You can cancel the garden waste service if you no longer require that service.
There's no refund if you cancel your service within the subscription period.

Removal
If the garden wheelie bin is no longer needed it can be removed as long as it is empty.
