Before the weather gets colder, check that your heating and hot water are working.
You can:
- check the batteries in your thermostat and change them if needed
- check your boiler pressure
- check radiators, valves and pipes for leaks
- bleed your radiators if they are cold at the top
- turn your heating on to make sure it works
Get your boiler serviced
We service your gas boiler every year to make sure it is safe and working properly.
If we have told you that your gas service is due, call the Gas Servicing team on 0117 922 4113 and choose option 1 to book an appointment.
Tell us about heating problems
If your heating or hot water is not working properly, tell us immediately.
Call the Citizen Service Centre on 0117 922 2200.
Telling us early gives us more time to fix the problem and helps you keep your home warm over winter.
If we have capped your gas meter
We'll need to reconnect your heating and hot water.
Call the Gas Servicing team on 0117 922 4113 and choose option 1 to arrange this.
