You'll need a deposit licence to put building materials, including storage containers, welfare units and portaloos on a highway.
This licence is only given where absolutely necessary. Where possible we expect you to store building materials off the highway on private property.
Cost
A licence or renewal of a licence is £84 .
The builders deposit licence can last up to a month. You must make another application if you need a licence for longer.
